PURPOSE:To make a recording result easy to observe and to facilitate the arrangement of data, by mounting a setting means for setting graduations and a unit at every input signal area and an accurate calculation means for allowing a recording means to perform the printing of the graduations and the unit at every input signal on the basis of the set value of said setting means. CONSTITUTION:A recorder is equipped with a setting means 5 for setting graduations and a unit at every input signal area and an accurate calculation means 4 for allowing a recording means 8 to perform the printing of the graduations and the unit at every input signal on the basis of the set value of said setting means 5. At the time of measurement, each of an input change- over device 1 takes in an input signal at a predetermined cycle while successively receives ON/OFF operation. Other than analogue recording, an input number is printed in the vicinity of an analogue recording line (pattern) at every input signal and, at the same time, the graduations and unit set by the setting means 5 with respect to said input signal are digitally printed. By this method, a recording result is made easy to observe and the arrangement of data can be facilitated.
