Summary:PURPOSE:To make it possible to collectively and continuously enter a large number of passbooks, by collectively setting passbooks to be entered to a cassette and taking out the passbooks from said cassette one at a time. CONSTITUTION:In collective entry, passbooks to be entered are collectively set to a a cassette 630 and a cassette number, to which an own passbook was set, is inputted. The passbook delivered by this indication is sent to a processing unit 77 through a feed unit 75. However, because the passbook passed through a MS part 64 is in a closed state, said passbook is sent to a turn-page mechanism 650 where the cover of the passbook and a predetermined number of inner sheets are turned over in parallel to the sending-out of MS data to a host. Thereafter, the confirmation of a page and the detection of a printing start line are performed by a sensor 67 and the passbook is subsequently sent to a printing part 66 to receive entry. Hereinafter, the entry of the set passbook is performed in the same way until the cassette 630 is emptied.
