Summary:PURPOSE:To join members and form a decorative edge on the joined part at the same time, by butting two members subjected to special end face working, pushing a specific mold for forming the decorative edge against both the members to extend over them, and injecting a resin into the mold. CONSTITUTION:Member end faces (11a) and (11b) of two members (9a) and (9b) are first subjected to end face working for allowing a resin 13 to enter the end faces (11a) and (11b), and a mold 10 having a recessed part 14 constituting a cavity for filling the resin 13 forming a decorative edge 17 on a joined part 12 in bringing into contact with both members (9a) and (9b) to extend over them and a resin injection inlet 15 to the recessed part 14 is prepared at the same time. The members (9a) and (9b) are butted, and the mold 10 is pushed against the members (9a) and (9b) to face recessed part 14 to the joined part 12. The resin 13 is injected from the injection inlet 15. After curing the resin 13, the mold 10 is removed to carry out the joining of the members (9a) and (9b) and forming of the decorative edge 17 at the same time.
