Summary:PURPOSE:To keep a lining lining from being deformed by forming a seamless lining on a cylinder to smooth the sliding of a piston. CONSTITUTION:A groove 22 is disposed on a cylinder 10, and a lining 18 is formed on the groove 22. The tape surface 21 of the lining 18 is formed in such a manner as to extend from the inner peripheral surface 11 of the cylinder 10, that is, in such a manner that the apparent thickness of a portion 23 where the taper surface 11 is joined to the inner peripheral surface 11. The thickness of the end portion of an insert is made thinner as much as possible in order to smooth the sliding of a piston 32. Therefore, through there is the possibility that the insert comes off the cylinder by the sliding of the piston, the lining has no seam so that the lining is not deformed.
