Summary: | PURPOSE:To shorten the processing time of defoaming and degassing by previously heating liquid crystals to be injected into a prescribed gap space part of panel constitution up to a high temperature preventing the liquid crystal from the loss of its characteristics in vacuum and then removing bubbles and gas. CONSTITUTION:A pair of panel substrates on which electrodes are formed respectively are opposed with a prescribed gap space. Prior to the injection of liquid crystal 1 into the prescribed gap space part of said panel constitute, the liquid crystal 1 is stored in a storage vessel 2, the vessel 2 is arranged on a heating part 4 arranged in an airtight vessel 3, the air in the vessel 3 is sucked up to vacuum by an exhaust means 5 and the liquid crystal 1 is heated up to a high temperature within an allowable temperature range preventing the liquid crystal from the loss of its characteristics by the heating part 4. Consequently, the viscosity o the liquid crystal 1 is reduced and its fluidity is improved, so that many bubbles, impurity gas or water adsorbed and included in the liquid crystal 1 are efficiently removed. |
