Summary:PURPOSE:To facilitate the change-over between automatic paper supply and manual one by disposing a disengageable coupling in a power transmitting means for transmitting the power of a motor to a paper supply roll and connecting this coupling to a manual guide plate through a linkage. CONSTITUTION:By selecting the rotating direction of a motor 10 according to the use of upper and lower stage cassettes during the paper supply by the cassette is transmitted a turning force of the motor 10 to an upper stage paper roll gear 18 through gears 12, 15, a coupling 16 and a gear 17 and to a lower stage paper supply roll gear 20 through an intermediate gear 20 to supply blanks through paper supply roll 7 or 8 rotated forward. Next, when a manual guide plate is pivoted up to a position of use in the manual paper supply, a switch operation member 29 moves on a shaft 30 against a spring 32 through links 27, 28 to disengage the coupling 16. Thus, the turning force of the motor 10 is transmitted only to a manual roll 9 through gears 12, 14 to stop the rotation of the paper supply rolls 7, 8.
