Summary: | PURPOSE:To prevent a developer from lumping by making the gap between a sleeve for developer conveyance in an electronic developing chamber and a doctor blade for specifying the conveyance amount of the developer smaller at both end parts than at the center part, and making the sleeve smaller in diameter at both ends than at the center part. CONSTITUTION:The developer 2 in the developing chamber is conveyed as shown by an arrow A by the sleeve 4 supported turnably on two side plates 8. The doctor blade 6 which specifies the conveyance amount of the developer 2 is provided closely to the sleeve 4. The gap between the sleeve 4 and doctor blade 6 is G1 at the center part and G2 at both end parts, and projections 7 are provided to both end parts of the doctor blades 6 so that G1>G2; and the diameter D1 of the sleeve at the center part is larger than D2 at the end parts, and a magnet inside the sleeve is fitted to only the part with the diameter D1. Further, a sponge seal 11 is provided to the small-diameter part of the sleeve. Consequently, even if a developer which becomes excessive at the center part flows to both end parts, the developer is supplied smoothly for a long period without blocking. |
