Summary:PURPOSE:To attain battery saving by starting the operation of a microcomputer after one signal's share of data is all finished for reception. CONSTITUTION:A serial data RX is inputted to a synchronizing pattern detection section 3 and synchronizing information is informed to a memory section 2 and a control section 4 via a synchronizing information line 5. The memory section 2 starts storage of serial data in succession to the synchronizing pattern by this message. The control section 4 starts bit count at the same time and gives an operation request to the microcomputer 1 after one signal's share is counted. The stand-by state of the microcomputer 1 is released into the operating state and the data for one signal's share stored in the memory section 2 is read via a data line 7 and the decoding processing of data is performed.
