Summary:PURPOSE:To realize a function similar to the extension of a master set as a result by monitoring a video signal and a voice signal at the outside of a slave set by means of a general home use TV receiver to use the TV receiver in common to a monitor receiver of a television door phone set. CONSTITUTION:A control signal generating circuit 34 is set to the automatic video switching mode by depressing an automatic video changeover button 7 of a master set 1, e.g., setting an FFv. When a visitor depresses a calling button 12 of a slave set and a detected output from a call signal detecting circuit 33 is transmitted to a control signal generating circuit 34, a video changeover control signal is transmitted from the circuit 34 to a video system. When the power of the TV receiver 18 is turned off in the video system, the power is turned on in response to the said video switching control signal and also a video signal from the slave set, a voice signal as required, is monitored by the TV receiver.
