Summary:PURPOSE:To improve the workability and assembling property by forming a rotor in which two layers of upper and lower rotor yokes are disposed, disposing a permanent magnet in the same phase as the rotor poles of the both rotor yokes, and simultaneously cutting the teeth of the rotor yoke pairs. CONSTITUTION:A rotor shaft 18 is supported through bearings 14, 16 to upper and lower housings 10, 12. Upper and lower rotor yokes 22, 24 are axially superposed fixedly at both sides of a permanent magnet 20 on the shaft 18. Stator assemblies 26, 28 are composed of upper stators 26a, 28a, and lower stators 26b, 28b. A dummy ring is inserted to the opposed position to the teeth formed portions of the both rotor yokes 22, 24, thereby entirely eliminating a gap between the yokes 20 and 24 to prevent the production of a machining burr.
