CONSTITUTION:A plurality of, for example, four counters 61-64 are provided and step while receive the same pulse 5. The counters 61-64 are reset at every constant time T but the count value directly before resetting is read to be converted to data. Timing starting counting after the counters 61-64 are reset is different at every counter. By successively reading the values of the counters 61-64, a count value can be obtained at small time intervals.
