Summary:PURPOSE:To execute a program by a ciphered instruction or an unciphered instruction code by providing an electronic computer with a decoding data setter capable of setting for every computer, an instruction code decoder and a controller for decoding operation. CONSTITUTION:When a decoding control FF9 is ''0'', an instruction stored in a storage device 1 is executed as it is, and when the FF9 is ''1'', a bit obtained by inverting an instruction bit corresponding to a bit when an output from the decoding data setter 4 is ''1'' is executed. Therefore, normal operation is not attained if a program (to be ciphered) based upon the instruction code obtained by inverting the bit value is not previously stored in the storage device 1 when the FF9 is ''1''. Since a bit to be inverted can be made different in each computer, a program ciphered by a bit inversion pattern can be executed only by a computer in which decoding data having the same bit pattern are set.
