Summary: | PURPOSE:To prevent generation of rupture and damage by rotating pinch rollers and pulling a dummy bar when the torque of twin mold rollers attains a set value so that a sheet is drawn at the most suitable thickness of shells. CONSTITUTION:A molten metal 4 is solidified by twin mold rollers 1 and shells 5 are successively formed. Then the torque of a motor is gradually increased and such torque is measured with a device 8 for measuring the torque of the motor. The measured value inputted to an arithmetic control device 10 from the device 8 and the set value inputted thereto from a setter 10 are compared in said control device. When both values coincide, a driving signal is outputted from the device 10 to a pinch roller driving device 9, by which pinch rollers 6 are rotated toward an arrow B and a dummy bar 2 is pulled toward an arrow C. A sheet is thus drawn from between the rollers 1. |
