Summary: | PURPOSE:To achieve the enhancement in heat resistance and the reduction in humidification, by containing fluorinated polyvinyl acetal obtained by increasing the wt. of polyvinyl acetal being a powdery synthetic resin by 1% or more by fluorinating said resin through the contact with fluorine gas. CONSTITUTION:In an information recording body having a synthetic resin plate as a substrate, the synthetic resin plate contains fluorinated polyvinyl acetal obtained by increasing the wt. of polyvinyl acetal by 1% or more by fluorinating the powder thereof through the contact with fluorine gas. When the wt. of the fluorinated one is increased by 1% or more, it is judged that the objective fluorinated polyvinyl acetal is formed. The formed fluorinated polyvinyl acetal is washed with water and dried to obtain the objective resin. A small amount of a stabilizer, an oxidation inhibitor, a lubricant or the like are added to and mixed with the obtained resin while the resulting mixture is molded into a plate shape to form an optical information recording body. This recording body is excellent in heat resistance and reduced in humidification and generates no stress during storage. |
