Summary: | PURPOSE:To eliminate adverse effect of deterioration of a photosensitive body, and necessity of a cleaning means, and to enable high speed image formation without color mackling by forming a digital electrostatic charge pattern on an insulating recording paper and developing it with an insulating toner, and repeating these steps two or more times to form a multicolor image. CONSTITUTION:An insulating recording paper 2 is fed to a drum 1 with a feeding roller 3, and pressed to the drum 1 with a pressing roller 4. The insulating recording roller 2 is destaticized with a destaticizer 5, and receives a digital charge pattern corresponding to the first image signal from a digital charger 6. The blue electrostatic latent image is developed with a yellow toner in a developing unit A. This recording paper is provisionally fixed with the roller 4. It is again destaticized with the destaticizer 5 to be freed of the charge pattern, and a digital charge pattern corresponding to the color signal of the second color (green) is formed on the recording paper 2, and it is developed with a magenta toner in a developing unit B. Then, the latent image of the third color (red) is developed with a cyan toner in a developing unit C and it is fixed with a heat fixing device 9. |
