Summary:PURPOSE:To efficiently separate dextrin from cyclodextrin by the treatment, using a dynamic membrane under a specific pressure, of a stock solution containing the both. CONSTITUTION:A stock solution containing both dextrin and cyclodextrin is treated, using a dynamic membrane constituted by porous substrate on which a self-exclusion film is formed with either dextrin solution or mixed solution containing dextrin and cyclodextrin, under a pressure 0.5-25kg/cm , pref. with a linear velocity of the flow (stock solution) parallel to said membrane falling between 0.5 and 3m/sec, to obtain the objective permeated solution of higher cyclodextrin concentration than that is the stock solution. Said substrate is, e.g., ceramic one with pores of a size 0.1-2mum, another derived from coating alumina on this to provide pores of an average size 0.05mum, or natural or organic synthetic membrane with a pore size 0.01-10mum.
