Summary: | PURPOSE:To convert a voltage signal into a desired frequency signal with high accuracy through a simple constitution, by providing an output circuit at the output side of an integration circuit of the final stage to change the ouput level of the output circuit itself and adding a switch element to each integration circuit to clear the output of these integration circuits. CONSTITUTION:The 1st and 2nd integration circuits 10-1 and 10-2 are connected in series, and a comparator 14 is connected to the output side of the circuit 10-2. A pulse signal CO is delivered from a one-shot pulse generating circuit when the output of the comparator 14 is set at an H level. Then the outputs of both circuits 10-1 and 10-2 are cleared, and the output of the comparator 14 is set again at an H level to obtain an output frequenecy (fs) proportional to the square root of a voltage signal (el). Thus the effects of the offset voltage of operational amplifiers 11 and 13 are reduced compared with a conventional case. Then the signal (el) can be converted into a frequency signal (fs) which is proportional to a square root with high accuracy. |
