Summary: | PURPOSE:To improve working efficiency and to obtain a metallic laminated body having good quality by adhering a kneaded plastic material composed of sinterable metallic powder and synthetic resin binder to a metllic base material then decomposing thermally the binder and sintering the metallic powder in a vacuum or reducing atmosphere. CONSTITUTION:The plastic material P prepd. by kneading sinterable metallic powder (e.g.; a powder mixture composed of Ni self-fluxing alloy powder and pulverized Mo powder) and the synthetic resin binder is adhered to the base surface 2 of the base material Io consisting of a cast iron, etc. The material P is then pressed by a pattern M to form a work forming part Ia. An enclosure is attached to the material Io to enclose the periphery of the material P. The surface thereof is coated with ceramic powder and 0.75mm. steel balls 5 are placed thereon to backup the surface. The material Io is then installed in a heating furnace 3 where the org. material is thermally decomposed under atmospheric pressure. The material Io is immediately thereafter installed in a vacuum sintering furnace 6. The Ni self-fluxing alloy-Mo powder layer Po is sintered in the gaseous N2 or gaseous H2 atmosphere in the furnace 6, by which the die 1 formed with the work forming part Ia by the sintered layer S is obtd. |
