Summary:PURPOSE:To attain the continuation of communication with all devices even in case a transmission line is cut at an area, by connecting plural devices containing two pairs of transmission/reception terminals in a loop form via a transmission line and transmitting the same data in two directions at a time. CONSTITUTION:Plural devices 10 are connected in a loop form via an optical fiber, and two pairs of transmission/reception terminals T and R are provided to each device 10. Then two pairs of transmission/reception lines A and B are connected to the terminals T and R. Each of both lines A and B consists of transmission and reception lines and is connected to the other adjacent device 10 on a transmission loop. The same telegram is always transmitted to both lines A and B, and each device 10 contains a first-in priority circuit. Thus the first-in one of both signals of the lines A and B is received with the reception inhibited for the signal arrived later. In such constitution, the communication is secured among all devices 10 although the transmission/reception line has a fault at an area.
