Summary:PURPOSE:To prevent a main leaf from wearing and to obtain the variable rate property of which spring constant gently rises by providing elastic objects between the face at the side of leaf tensile stress and the car body side member opposed to this face in the captioned mechanism of laminated spring type. CONSTITUTION:When a downward load is acted on spring eyes 2, a main leaf 1 alone deflects while the load is small, and the deflection of the main leaf 1 increases with increasing load with the result that the distance between a car body side member 5 and the leaf spring mechanism is shorten and finally an elastic object 10 and 11 are contacted with a contact plate 15 and 16 respectively. Consequently the increase of load after this causes also a leaf 7 to deflect and the spring constant to rise. This constitution allows the spring constant to rise gently with the result that the variable rate property can be obtained.
