Summary:PURPOSE:To reduce friction loss provided between a roller and a crank of a rotary compressor by forming an escape on the face of the crank at the side opposite to that at which a maximum resultant force of the crank operates, therefore said face being subjected to low working load. CONSTITUTION:An escape 22A is formed on the face of the crank A of this rotary compressor at the side opposite to that at which a maximum resultant force of the crank operates, therefore said face being subjected to low working load. Oil is supplied in this escape from a branch hole 19 separated from the shaft hole 17 passing through a rotary shaft 5, thereby lubricating the opposing faces of the internal face of the roller 3 and the crank 4A. The face which is subjected to the resultant force of the crank is thereby maintained to be supplied with sufficient lubricating oil so that the friction loss between the roller 3 and the crank can be reduced.
