Summary:PURPOSE:To provide the function of an ammeter and voltmeter to a copying machine by changing over the display content only when the value of the input from an A/D conversion part for measuring the output value of a process means to a control part exceeds a specified value to display the output value of the process means. CONSTITUTION:The output value (current of electrostatic charge, transferring, separating and removing chargers, bias voltage for development, exposing lamp voltage, etc.) from the process means of a copying machine is inputted to the input terminal 5 in an A/D conversion part 2 of a control means 3 and is inputted to a digital control part 1 after A/D conversion. When the input value exceeds a specified value in the event of abnormality, the display content of a display part 4 is changed over and the input value is displayed. The copying machine has therefore the function of an ammeter and voltmeter.
