EXAMPLE:6-Ethylamino-2,2,5,8-tetramethylchroman. USE:Antiplatelet and antithrombotic agent. PREPARATION:For example, the compound of formula I wherein R is H and the bond between 3 and 4 carbon atoms in the structural formula is single bond can be prepared by nitrosating the 6-site of the chroman compound of formula IV, and reducing the product.
