Summary:PURPOSE:To compact sand with good efficiency by greatly vibrating the tip portion of an inner tube of a double tube by a method in which a vibrator is attached to the upper part of a sand pile former consisting of the double tube, and the vibration of the vibrator is transmitted through each connecting plate to the outer and inner tubes. CONSTITUTION:A sand pile former consists of an outer tube A and an inner tube B. The upper side of the inner tube B is provided with a hopper 1 through which sand is charged, and the upper part of the outer tube A is also provided with a vibrator body C. In the vibrator body C, a pair of follow gears 8 fixed to the end of left and right-handed paired crankshafts 10 in which an eccentric weight is made up of both arms of the crank is supported on the bearing 9, and the crankshafts 10 are turned toward mutually opposite directions. The vibration of the vibrator C is transmitted through the outside connecting plate 16 to the outer tube A and also to the inner tube B through the inside connecting plate 15. The tip portion of the inner tube can thus be greatly vibrated and sand can be compacted with good efficiency.
