Summary:PURPOSE:To reduce friction and abrasion of sliding parts of the rotary type Flon compressor by a method wherein refrigerating machine oil, consisting of the base oil of paraffin series mineral oil or the like including the multivalent alcohol ester of monocarboxylic acid and methane sulfonic acid ester, is used. CONSTITUTION:The blending ratio of the multivalent alcohol ester (b) with respect to at least one kind of base oil (a) selected from a group consisting of paraffin series mineral oil, naphthenic series mineral oil and alkyl benzene (g) is b(a+b) or 5-30wt% while the blending ratio of methane sulfonic acid ester (c) is c/(a+b+c) or 0.05-0.5wt%. The wear resistance of sliding parts of the rotary type Flon compressor may be improved with small amount of oil supplying by using the refrigerating machine oil blended within above ranges.
