Summary: | PURPOSE:To prevent corrosion of a key way part and the like by providing a means to discharge incondensable gas and condensed water contained in steam which is produced consequently upon a phenomenon of steam condensation in a key way escape groove of a steam turbine rotor and also providing a means to restrict inflow of the steam. CONSTITUTION:Steam from the reactor of a steam turbine drives a rotor blade 7 from a step inlet 5 via a stator blade 6 and flows out from a step outlet 8, however, a part of steam leaks into the upstream part of the downstream side rear step disc via a diaphragm packing 10. Further, another part of steam enters a key way 4 from a key way entrance 12 and flows into a key way escape groove 13. At this time, since liquid touching area of the escape groove 13 is formed to have several tens times as large as that of the key way 4, condensation of the steam is performed. In order to smoothly discharge the condensed water, a communicating hole 16 is formed in the rotor so that said water is discharged by centrifugal force, while a gas, not yet condensed, is exhausted from a bent hole 16'. |
