Summary:PURPOSE:To simplify a work, by a method wherein a chain, having a mounting metal with a turn-buckle, is installed in a bracing manner to the upper and the lower frame on the steel pillars of the titled pier, and the length of a brace is regulated and tightening is effected by the use of the turn-buckle. CONSTITUTION:An uppermost plate is disposed to steel skeletons 1, a hook is engaged with a bored hole in the plate 2 to mount a high-strength chain 3 to a pillar of the steel skeleton 1, and the suspending chain 3 is extended to place bail cans 9 on a pit excavation bottom. Thereafter, after pit excavation is carried out to a given depth, the chain 3 is moved from a position, shown by a dotted line, to a position shown by a solid line, and through control of a turn- buckle 5, the length of a brace is regulated and tightening is performed to mount the plate 2 to the lower end thereof. Further, the same works are repeated in order.
