Summary: | PURPOSE:To provide a paint compsn. for precoated metal, which gives a coating film having excellent processability, appearance, resistance by heat, impact, solvents and corrosion, etc., by blending frit with a polyamide-imide resin in a specified weight ratio. CONSTITUTION:40-80pts.wt. frit having a softening point of 350 deg.C or above, a solvent such as dimethylformamide and optionally additives such as heat-resisting pigment, dispersion stabilizer, etc. are blended with 100pts.wt. (on a solid basis) polyamide-imide resin, and the mixture is kneaded to obtain the desired paint compsn. for heat-resistant precoated metal. The frit is allowed to exist in the paint as dispersed particle and has such a function that when a coating film is put under heat-resisting conditions and the temp. reaches the softening point of the frit or above, the frit is molten to form a continuous film. An example thereof is phosphate frit. |
