PURPOSE:To take out a cassette with a front cover and a rear cover opened with simple constitution by providing a front cover closing guide which closes forcibly opened rear cover and front cover from both ends of a cassette storage case. CONSTITUTION:When a front cover 9a and a rear cover 10 of a cassette 2a are opened because of catching of a tape or foreign matters and the cassette 2a is taken out in the direction of an arrow B in this state, a front cover upper end 20 of the front cover 9a is brought into contact with a front cover closing guide 11. When the cassette 2a is pulled in the direction of the arrow B furthermore, the front cover upper end 20 is pressed by the front cover closing guide 11 to close the front cover 9a and the rear cover 10. The front cover closing guide 11 has such dimensions that it is not brought into contact with the rear cover 10. The rear cover 10 has a play for turning in accordance with the front cover 9a, and it is opened slightly even in the state where the front cover 10 is closed completely. Consequently, an inclined guide 3 has ah angle alpha and a height l to close the open rear cover 10.
