Summary:PURPOSE:To obtain the drooping function of a quadrant operations by considering the polarity of a motor current by varying the inverter command frequency by the power drive or regenerative state on the basis of a DC link current of a voltage type inverter. CONSTITUTION:The absolute value of a motor current is detected by a current transformer 9, a feedback signal is obtained from a polarity discrimination feedback signal generator 14 by a power drive or regenerative signal detected by a DC current detector 7 provided in the DC link of a voltage type inverter and normal or reverse rotation state signal provided by an exterior, compared by a comparator 12 with the set value of a setter 11 to the inverter command frequency. Thus, quadrant drooping function is performed by the inverter control of an AC motor.
