Summary: | PURPOSE:To suppress the production of a bulge and a dent at a new tire time and suppress the growths of them by inserting a bladder into a tire after vulcanization, applying an internal pressure to the bladder and cooling the tire in the state supported in a swelled state. CONSTITUTION:When a tire 21 after vulcanization is moved on a conveyor 20 and stopped at the position contacted with a stopper 23, upper and lower units 10a, 10b approach, the tire 21 is interposed between upper an lower rims 13, 27 and compressed air is supplied into the bladder 15 through the vent hole 29 of an upper board 12. Thus, the bladder 15 is expanded, contacted with the inner surface of the tire 21, and holds the tire 21 by the internal pressure in the expanded state. When the state is retained until the tire is cooled, the thermal contraction of the cord is suppressed. Since the tire is pressurized through the bladder 15 contacted with the inner surface of the tire, the difference of the elongation and contraction of the joint and nonjoint portions can be reduced. Thus, a buldge and a dent amount of new tire time can be suppressed to low values. Since a load is applied to the cord, the growths of the buldge and the dent due to long time traveling can hardly occur. |
