Summary: | PURPOSE:To contrive to improve the durability of a fiber reinforced plastic (FRP) laminated spring by a method wherein the pressure of a clamping surface is dispersed. CONSTITUTION:Stiffening plates 21 and 22 are interposed between a clamping surface and leaf springs 10 and 11 or between leaf springs 10 and 11 each other in an FRP laminated spring consisting of the ERP leaf springs 10 and 11 and a clamping structural body such as U-bolts 18 and a pad 17 and the like to clamp the leaf springs 10 and 11 in the direction of the spring thickness. Further, the stiffening plates 21 and 22 consist in piling up a plurality of stiffening plate building elements 25 with different lengths or have stiffening plate building elements 25, the cross-sectional areas at their plate end sides of which gradually decrease, in order to gradually decrease their rigidities at plate end sides. As a result, the nearer the stiffening paltes 21 and 22 lie the plate end side, the lower the rigidities at the ends of the stiffening pates 21 and 22 become, resulting in decreasing the pressures exerted by th plates 21 and 22 and consequently enabling to disperse the pressure of the clamping surface. |
