Summary:PURPOSE:To prevent the unbalance of a brake force load amount between composed units by increasing the brake force of other unit by the maximum output of the brake force in the composed railcars. CONSTITUTION:When a speed suppression command is outputted from a cap 22, a separately-excited field current command value is applied from a speed suppression control pattern circuit 19 to control the separately-excited field currents of the units to the command value. When the brake forces BE21, BE22 of Nos. 1 and 2 units become the relation of BE21, BE22. the brake output of the No. 1 unit increases by a brake force correcting circuit, and the brake forces of the Nos. 1 and 2 units are balanced when they coincide. Thus, the unbalance of the brake forces of the composed units can be eliminated.
