PURPOSE:To simplify the construction of a device and to reduce the manufacturing cost by supplying waste liquid from above into the space between a pair of heating drums of which the upper parts thereof rotate outward from each other, drying the liquid by heating and scraping continuously the dried waste in the form of powder by scrapers. CONSTITUTION:Heating steam is fed from charging pipes 8a, 8b for heating steam of a heater to the inside of a pair of heating drums 5, 6 to heat the drums 5, 6. The drums 5, 6 are rotated by driving a motor so that the upper parts thereof rotate outward from each other. Waste liquid to be treated is supplied from a waste liquid supply nozzles 13 to the space between the drums 5 and 6. The waste liquid is uniformly charged and distributed to the drums 5 and 6 by the nozzle 13 and sticks to the drums 5, 6 as it is heated by the outside peripheral surfaces thereof, whereby the liquid is gradually dried. The dried waste is scraped in the form of powder by scrapers 15a, 15b and the powder is removed through an outlet 4. On the other hand, the evaporating water is sucked through an outlet 2 and is recovered in a condenser.
