Summary:PURPOSE:To move up and down an internal cylinder and to put a burner in vertical motion easily and securely by rotating a cam fixed to a fulcrum shaft installed on the internal surface of the internal cylinder. CONSTITUTION:An external cylinder 1 is fixed on the bottom plate of a device and the internal cylinder 2 engages it through a spring 7. The cam 4 is fitted rotatably to the fulcrum shaft 3 fixed inside of the internal cylinder 2, and the tip of an operating shaft 5 engaged threadably with the flank of the internal cylinder 2 contacts the projection part at the other end of the cam 4. Combustion gas is admitted from the hole provided to a burner chamber 10 fixed to the top surface of the internal cylinder 2 and an atomizer 13 atomizes sample liquid 15 to mix the fuel gas; and the mixture is injected from an injection slit for ignition. When a knob 6 is turned clockwise, the operating shaft 5 moves forth to press the projection part by the other end of a cam 4, which is raised to elevate the internal cylinder 2 together with the fulcrum shaft 3; and the burner chamber 10 is elevated to lower the frame transmission position of measurement luminous flux 12 relatively.
