Summary:PURPOSE:To facilitate batch operation while halving the amount of raw water to be used, by separating a cathodic chamber from an anodic chamber at which drain and supply openings are provided in a state communicated to each other so as to circulate acidic water with a diaphragm, and providing electrodes in both of the polar chambers. CONSTITUTION:A tank 5 both for raw water and alkali water and a tank 7 for acidic water are taken out of a main body 10. Thereafter, a cover 14 is detached from the tank 5, tap water is poured in said tank 5, and then the tank 5 is covered again. Tap water and calcium lactate are charged in the tank 7, said tank 7 is covered again, and then the tank 5 is mounted on the tank 7 received in the main body 10. Thereafter, by turning on a switch for a power source, water is supplied to an electrolytic cell 1 by pumps 6, 8, and alkali water is directly collected through a collecting opening 9. On the other hand, by rotating a pipe 16 in a manner such that an opening 17 is held at a lower position, water in the tank 5 is gradually converted into alkali water. After the electrolysis is completed, the tank 5 is taken out and used as a vessel for alkali water.
