PURPOSE:To prevent an operation miss for taking out paper sheets with certainty, by installing both of a picker type takeout mechanism and a roller type takeout mechanism, while operating the other side mechanism when either of them fails to operate in time of taking out these paper sheets. CONSTITUTION:A picker type takeout mechanism 15 and a roller type takeout mechanism 16 are set up at the delivery side of ticket paper pieces 12... such as a platform ticket or the like available in a railway station held in a piling part between guide plates 11 and 11. The picker type takeout mechanism 16 is made up so as to cause a picker 20 to go forward by rotation in an arm 23 by a motor 22, engaging the rear end of each ticket paper piece 12 to an engaging part 20a whereby taking out the ticket paper piece one by one, and each ticket paper piece carried out forward in regular sequence by a pair of feed rollers 34 and 34. On the other hand, the roller type takeout mechanism 16 is made up so as to take out each ticket paper piece 12 one by one dint of frictiolnal force in a step difference part 26a in time of rotation in a takeout roller 26 by another motor. And, in time of operating one side takeout mechanism 15 or 16, the other side takeout mechanism 16 or 15 is controlled so as to be driven in motion when a ticket paper detector 35 does not detect the ticket paper takeout.
