PURPOSE:To enhance the durability of a bead part, by arranging a support piece having function for holding the bead heel part of a mold, opened at both end surfaces thereof, having a space continued between both end surfaces thereof and having a space ratio of 10% or more. CONSTITUTION:A nonwoven fabric is wound around a bead core 1 to form a support piece 3. The nonwoven fabric is opened between both end surfaces 4, 4' and has a space therebetween while the width of the support piece is usually adjusted to about 0.5-3.0cm and the space ratio is set to 50-90%. By setting a pair of bead cores to which the support piece 3 is attached to a bead heel part, the bead cores can be accurately arranged to a predetermined position and the continuous space of the nonwoven fabric is impregnated with a liquid polymer by injecting the same to achieve the strong bond with the support piece. The shape of the support piece is simple and can be fixed to the bead cores by a simple method such as a wind-up method.
