Summary: | PURPOSE:To enable to obtain stable accelerating performance of a motor cycle or the like, by employing such an arrangement that the effective length of a throttle wire extended between a throttle actuator and a throttle valve of a carburetor can be varied according to the slip factor of wheel. CONSTITUTION:When acceleration is started by opening a throttle valve 25 by a throttle grip and the rear wheel causes slippage in this state, a central processing unit (CPU) calculates the slip factor lambda from the outputs of a front- wheel speed sensor and a rear-wheel speed sensor and turns a motor 17 by an angle corresponding to the slip factor lambda. Resultantly, a pulley 34 is turned to the right around a pin 33 by means of a pinion 36, so that the effective length of a throttle wire 22 is shortened and the throttle valve 25 is closed correspondingly. Thus, since the slip factor lambda is always controlled to stand within an optimum range, stable accelerating performance can be obtained. Further, it is enabled to improve the driving performance on rough roads. |
