PURPOSE:To make it possible to sufficiently carry out the drying of a powder in good heat efficiency, by mounting a predetermined cylindrical member flowing a heating medium in a cylindrical container to develop the perfectly floated and rotated state of the powder in said cylindrical container. CONSTITUTION:In an almost horizontally arranged cylindrical container 22 having a jacket provided with an inlet 22a and an outlet 22b of a powder and a discharge port 22c discharging steam generated from the powder by drilling and flowing a heating medium appropriately provided to the peripheral surface thereof, a single cylindrical member 82 having an outer peripheral shape coincided with the floated and rotated state of the powder and flowing the heating medium is mounted in almost parallel relationship and a vibration generating source 42 is mounted to said cylindrical container 22 which is in turn supported by elastomers such as springs 52a, 52b. As the result, the perfectly floated and rotated state of the powder is developed and the drying or the reaction of the powder can be sufficiently carried out in good heat efficiency.
