Summary:PURPOSE:To produce high corrosion resistant external parts at a low cost by immersing a base material for external parts of a watch, etc. into the melt of a high corrosion resistant alloy in the mid-way of molding, and subjecting the same to >=1 times of die molding in succession. CONSTITUTION:External parts, etc. of a watch consisting of brass, steel, free cutting stainless steel, etc, having machineability and pressability as a base material are first roughly worked. The roughtly worked parts are immersed in the melt of a high corrosion resistant material such as ''Hastelloy'', ''Inconel'', or the like to disperse and stick such material on the surface of the roughly worked parts, whereafter the parts are finished to the final shape by die molding. The base material 5 and the high corrosion resistant material 6 diffuse and join to each other thereby forming a secure bond, and eliminating the peeling by the succeeding die molding. The surface of the material 5 is covered with a high corrosion resistant material 7. The amt. of the costly materials such as ''Hastelloy'' to be used is reduced to a fraction and the external parts having high resistance to corrosion are obtd. at a low cost.
