Summary:PURPOSE:To improve the plasticizer resistance and the color formation sensitivity multiplicatively by combined use of a styleneacrylate copolymer with the molecule weight of 1,000-10,000 and a zinc fatty acid salt in a heat sensitive recording paper containing a color forming lacton compound as color developer. CONSTITUTION:A styleneacrylate copolymer with the molecular weight of 1,000-10,000 is used for the color developer. When the molecule weight is less than 1,000, synthesization itself is hard to perform while when larger than 10,000 the color formation capacity is limited. The value is preferably 2,000-5,000, better in the color formation capacity and the fading of image. It is necessary to add a hot melting intensifier and particularly, a zinc fatty acid salt shows a better result. The amount of the addition is 20-200wt% with respect to the color developer, preferably 50-100wt%. When it is below 20wt%, no intensifying effect is produced or when it above 200wt%, a higher cost results when a heat sensitive paper is finished. This is undesired because of causing a gas.
