Summary:PURPOSE:To make the structure of a burner box compact, by fixing an air-flow rate control box to the inside of either of a right and a left side walls of the burner box, and fixing a resistor having substantially the same longitudinal sectional area as that of the air-flow control box to the inside of the other side wall of the burner box. CONSTITUTION:In an apparatus in which both ends of a horizontally disposed box 1 are opened respectively at 6 and 8 and a burner 9 is disposed on the inside of the box 1, an air-flow control box 11 is fixed to the inside of either of a right and a left side walls 4, 5 of the box 1 and a resistor 14 having substantially the same longitudinal sectional area as that of the air-flow control box 11 is fixed to the inside of the other side wall in a symmetrical manner. With such an arrangement, it is enabled to make the structure of a burner compact and to carry the burner with ease. Further, it is enabled to control the combustion rate with ease and to obtain a proper temperature distribution, so that highquality dried grain can be obtained.
