Summary:PURPOSE:To reduce the vibration stress of a riser and to improve the lifetime of the riser in a DC electric machine by providing a spacer between the risers at the position where the vibration mode of the rise becomes the largest slope, thereby enhancing the rigidity of the riser group. CONSTITUTION:A spacer 7 is mounted at the position where the vibrations mode of the rise 5 becomes the largest slope, i.e., at the position of 1/4 of the passage of a riser span l from the fixing point A of the coil end 3 side, and the spacer is bonded between the risers 5. This spacer 7 uses vibration preventive rubber, bakelite, glass fiber reinforced plastic as an insulator having high attenuation rate. In this manner, the resonance with the armature can be prevented, thereby improving the lifetime of the riser.
