Summary: | PURPOSE:To initialize partially each power supply at the reapplication of power supply, by providing an interface in which a central processing unit (CPU) sets up a necessary initial value previously as a part of a program and an initializing signal generator to which an output from a circuit is inputted at the reapplication of the power supplies. CONSTITUTION:An I/O bus expanding unit 4 is connected to the CPU1 in the computer system through an I/O bus 3, and an I/O expanding bus 5 is connected to the unit 4. In addition, an I/O interface 6 is connected between the bus 5 and an I/O device 2. The unit 4 is provided with a power supply disconnection/reapplication detecting circuit 22 connected to a power supply device 11, an interruption controlling circuit 21 connected to the bus 3, the initializing signal generator 25, etc. At the generation of the power supply disconnection/reapplication signal, an initializing signal from the device 1 or the generator 21 is transmitted from the bus 5 to the interface 6 and the I/O device is initialized by an initial value stored in the interface. |
