PURPOSE:To recover effectively uncoated paint by recovering the uncoated paint in horizontal coating zone by an all-over recovery hopper and also by recovering the uncoated paint in vertical coating zone by a partial recovery hopper. CONSTITUTION:The object 6 to be coated is carried along to the horizontal portion coating zone of the coating booth 1 and then coated by electrostatic powder coating mode by means of the automatic coating gun 5a, and also powder paint not adhered to the object 6 to be coated is sucked up by the all-over recovery hopper 2a effectively because the opening of the all-over recovery hopper 2a is blocked with the object to be coated and thus the flow rate at the opening of the recovery hopper 2a becomes faster. Then, the object 6 to be coated is carried along to the vertical portion coating zone of the coating booth 1 and then coated with electrostatic powder paint by means of the automatic coating gun 5b. The uncoated paint is sucked up by the partial recovery hopper 2b provided at the lower part of the both sides of the object 6 to be coated and then recovered through the recovery duct 3b.
