Summary:PURPOSE:To eliminate a rattling sound and a gear sound by obtaining a pressure adjusting device which is not influenced by a delivery of a pump, by providing an automatic two-stage pressure adjusting valve through which low hydraulic pressure is obtained at the time of a low speed and high hydraulic pressure is obtained at the time of a high speed. CONSTITUTION:When a hydraulic pump 1 is in a low delivery a pressure adjusting valve spring 9 is pressed by a pressure adjusting piston 8, a ring groove 8A provided on the pressure adjusting piston 8 is connected with a port 12 for low pressure and reversible pressure adjusting is performed according to the spring force of a pressure adjusting valve spring 9 for the low pressure and the delivery force of hydraulic pressure. Under a high pressure state, a port 13 for high pressure is connected with a ring groove 8A and reversible pressure adjusting is performed by the pressure adjusting piston 8 according to the spring forces and deliveries of both a pressure adjusting valve spring 10 for high pressure and the pressure adjusting valve spring 9 for the low pressure. The pressure adjusting piston 8 adjusts pressure in a nonreversible manner under transitional states from the low pressure to the high pressure and from the high pressure to the low pressure.
