Summary:PURPOSE:To enable the collection of solar heat regardless of the angle of incidence of the sunlight and improve the efficiency of heat collection sharply by integrally molding a solar heat collector extending in the axial direction to a heat receiving section of a heat pipe. CONSTITUTION:A heat receiving section 2a of a heat pipe 2 in aluminum, etc. is inserted into a cylindrical glass tube 1 with a bottom, and the glass tube 1 is sealed at a sealing section 3. A hollow cylindrical solar heat collector 13 is integrally molded on an outer circumference of the heat receiving section 2a so as to surround the outer circumference by means of a method such as extruding molding at the same time as the manufacture of the heat pipe 2. The collector is held and fixed into the glass tube 1 by means of springs 6. A reflecting section 15 is formed to lower half on an inner circumferential surface of the glass tube 1, and rays R passing between the heat collector 13 and the glass tube 1 are reflected onto a lower surface of the heat collector 13. Acccording to said constitution, the efficiency of heat collection can be improved because the heat collector 13 collects sunlight by the width thereof corresponding to its diameter at all times regardless of an angle of incidence of sunlight.
