Summary:PURPOSE:To keep safe operation and to maintain performance of adsorbent for a long period without decreasing the capacity of adsorption of an adsorbent in a recovering process of a reactive solvent such as cyclohexanone by cooling feed gas in a gas cooler after passing the gas through a blower. CONSTITUTION:Dust is removed from the feed gas 1 by a filter 2, and the gas is then sent to a gas cooler 3 by a blower 4, and the heat contained in the feed gas 1 and the heat generated by the blower 4 are all removed; and the gas is humidified if necessary. The conditions of the gas is adjusted to the most suitable condition for the recovery of cyclohexanone by passing the gas through a diameter 13, then it is sent to an adsorption tower 5 where cyclohexanone, etc. are recovered by adsorption. Namely, the gas at the inlet of the adsorption tower 5 is not dried to higher degree than it is necessary, nor the temp. of the gas is elevated. On the other hand, the operation is performed under conditions influencing no adverse effect on the adsorption efficiency for cyclohexanone which might be caused by the adsorption of water.
