Summary:PURPOSE:To perform more excellent control of an ammonia injection amount, by providing a second ammonia injection means sent on the basis of a preceding injection signal to the intermediate part of an ammonia catalytic reductive denitration reactor. CONSTITUTION:A preceding ammonia injection signal X23 is guided from a circuit 20 to be sent to an adder 10 where added to the control signal X9 of a primary ammonia injection means 15. The remaining part of X23 is guided to a coefficient multiplier 42 and sent to the PID regulator 43 of a secondary ammonia injection apparatus 16. In the drawing, a numeral 44 is an ammonia flow amount regulating valve operated on the basis of the signal sent from a control apparatus 43 and a numeral 45 is an ammonia flow meter. When ammonia is injected from the injection nozzle of the secondary ammonia injection apparatus 16 when load is raised, the enhancement of transient response and denitration capacity of a denitration reactor can be achieved.
